That's the point though, if you know when the DT point is in these kinds of positions (in other words, how many off & with what distribution does Blue need to get to to have a take?) White couldn't care less about getting 3 or 4 off and then dancing, as soon as you close in to where if your opponent's next roll is a big double and it would put him greater than 30% you cube before this can happen and then let them figure out he pass/take decision.
