Interesting set of positions.

Other factors in favour of the split I noticed are:

• Opponent has an advanced anchor, or has an advanced split. The guidline of fighting an anchor with an anchor seems to hold.
• Opponent has a chequer in the outfield to get to safety. The chequer on the bar point makes this task more difficult.
