So....people do still play backgammon!

Hello, I used to play online as RopeADope1 on gamesgrid and MSN, and went to Charlotte twice and Atlanta once. It used to be something that I really enjoyed, but then I just stopped, 5 years ago*. Part of it was poker, but also my life turned chaotic about that time. Now I have the urge to pick it back up...so if you have any suggestions as to where to play online, let me know. I was never anywhere near the skill level of many of you guys, but I had a good time...

Couple of questions:

Did the Charlotte club dissolve? Any players in Upstate SC? Asheville?

*I played in a weekly ~10 player tournament in the Marigny (N.O.)about a year ago with a super-friendly bunch of folks. It was the last time I played on my Taki board before I sold it on Ebay, for survival purposes... I loved that damn thing....Is he still making boards?
