XG diagrams don't print well

Is there a way to configure the messages to display a different format for the XG board diagrams?

I like to print the positions, analysis and rollouts y'all post to review them closer when I am away from the computer screen.

The XG diagrams which are fairly readable on the screen are not so much when printed in black and white. Compare the GNUbg screens which print much more clearly.
