Praises to the USBGF

I've got to give a huge shout-out to the U.S. Backgammon Federation (USBGF).

Full disclosure- I am a Premium member of the USBGF, but I have no financial interest in the USBGF and this endorsement was not solicited by the USBGF.

The annotated matches available to Premium and Youth members are easily worth more than the price of membership, many, many times over. (Actually the bi-monthly magazine alone is worth the price of membership).

I'm just going over the 2011 U.S. Open match of Ray Fogerlund vs. Ed O'Laughlin, annotated by Marty Storer, and I'm thinking to myself, gosh, how much time did Marty put into annotating that, and how much would an individual be paying for that time via private lessons from a player of Marty's caliber?

If you're an ABT player and are not a member of the USBGF, you are doing yourself a disservice.
