BGBlitz beats GNUBG at the 8th Computer Olympiad, Graz

A report may be found here. I can't find the matches anywhere so if someone could post a link that would be great. It would be interesting to see what kind of PR XG thinks they played at. At this level of play, of course, close plays should really be subjected to a full rollout if we want any semblance of an accurate ER/PR measurement, but I don't personally have the computer power for that. And given that there was at least one superbackgame during the competition, even that may not really give us the "truth."

The opening-move junkies will undoubtedly be amused by the comment in the above report that "the first game [in the 4th 13-point match] begun with a strange opening error by GNU Backgammon," namely 43D-33E. Somehow I suspect that his comment isn't based on a belief that the correct move is 43D-33C.
