XG annoyance

One of the most annoying things about XG is when you import/set up a position and then want to play from that position.

menu bar> set up> play from position. then you get a pop up box that says "you have to enter a player name" then you go to another pop up box where you enter the players names. Then you can finally play.

is there a way to default this info and just get to playing? I've RTFM but can't seem to find a way around these steps. If there's no way around this then that's an improvement I'd strongly want added to XG2. Gnubg is super easy that way, but I'd prefer to practice with XG.
