Greatest Sports Moment (Way OT)

What is the greatest sports moment in history? The definition that I am using is an event so magnificent and historic that it was simply an incredible feat. Nobody could ever have predicted its occurrence and its magnificence has never truly been repeated.
My vote is for Bob Beamon’s shattering of the long jump record. The previous record was 27’ 4 ¾”. Nobody had ever come close to jumping 28’. At one spectacular moment at the Mexico 1968 Olympics, Beamon jumped an astonishing 29’ 2 ½”. This World Record was broken in 1991 with greatly improved track and field conditions and running shoes. This record is still the Olympic record.
My second sarcastic choice is the 1908 Chicago Cubs World Series team. It meets my definition of an event that may never be repeated.
