Old article in bridge mag

Am I the only one who remembers Matt Granovetter's article "Striking It Rich in Backgammon" which ran in three parts in late 1979-early 1980 in Popular Bridge magazine?

The article recounted Granovetter's run in the Plimpton tournament in early 1979. Undoubtably it was embellished somewhat :-) but it was fun reading.

I can't find any reference at all to it on the internet.
