As I emailed Phil Simborg I do not remember ever critisizing his teaching methods.I in fact think his methods are great. I am only on ss as I told him and there are priorities. Otherwise I would take lessons from him. I believe he is doing a whole lot for the game. As far as recording the college matches they would not be for learning but just to watch.I have done what he has said with xgammon but I do disagee with him about learning from annondated matches.I have learned a lot from them especially when there is commentary. But that does not mean anything against Phil or his teaching. I hope this sets the record straight.
