Chouette Question

Obviously, every chouette is autonomous and can make their own rules. But, I'm looking for the most common answer to this situation. If 2 players on the team decide to do a drop/take share-eg. that is drop one cube for 2 points and take the other for 4 points- Can the non-roller still consult on plays? To me, it seems like the roller would make their own plays without consultation. But, was wondering what the consensus is for other chouettes. Thanks for feedback. Seth
