(96-D)/(7+T)*(D)+50, D = Difference, T = Trailer.
Conditions:
1.) Compute ME's to 1 decimal place before multiples of D. 2.) Subtract 0.25 from ME's. 3.) Where the decimal is <0.4 round down >0.4 round up. E.g. 68.6-0.25, 68.35 round to 68; 68.7-0.25, 68.45 round to 69.
Crawford
((86-D)/(7+T)*(T)+50, apply condition 1 only!
Breakdown of 104 ME's in a 15 point match
Total - Rockwell-Kazaross 7439 - Formula 7440.2, deviation 62.9/104, 0.604; minus even scores, 62.9/90, 0.698, average 0.651. Given the numbers in the spreadsheet -0.25 seems to work best with 0.4 as the benchmark for rounding up/down.
Conditions 1-3 produce the following:
70/104 67%, 0% deviation
28/104 27%, <1% deviation
6/105 6%, >1% deviation
Overall, 94% of ME's <1%
Examples: (67%), -3 -5 (96-2)/(7+5)*(2)+50, 65.6-0.25, 65.35 = 65%, R/K 65%.
-7 -11 (96-4)/(7+11)*(4)+50, 70.4-0.25, 70.15 = 70% R/K 70%.
The extreme: -2 -15 (96-13)/(7+15)*(13), 98.1-0.25, 97.85 = 98, R/K 98%
(27%) -9 -14 (96-5)/(7+14)*(5)+50, 71.5-0.25, 71.25 = 71%, R/K 72%
The ugly! (6%) -2 -7 (96-5)/(7+7)*(5)+50, 82.5-0.25, 82.25 = 82%, R/K 84%.
