I have an Alien from Dell, a year and a half old now. Other than the fact that my computer bag weighs around 25 pounds (all the books in the bag don't help)and is a bitch to lug from the last gate (it's always the last gate!) I couldn't be happier with it.

We've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with Dell over the last five years, and my only complaints have involved the customer service agents (the female counterparts of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels) I used to deal with. Now I have someone even balder than I (i.e. he doesn't have ay hair to tear out) dealing with them. Otherwise the equipment has been fine, and tech support and service has been fine.

I fully expect to buy another Alien next time I upgrade my laptop.
