GNUbg not reading XG ID correctly?

When I try to set up the 5th problem in Stick's quiz-- http://www.bgonline.org/forums/webbbs_config.pl?noframes;read=97792 --by cutting and pasting the XG ID, GNUbg swaps the players (so that White is on roll and Blue is the player on the top side of the board).
No biggie, I figured, I swapped the players. Blue now shows up at the bottom, with the Blue man on the bar, but, White is on roll!
It looks like GNUbg is forgetting to swap the dice.
Is it me or GNUbg erring?
