I believe in certain situations great athletes should be 'docked' for having unfair attributes, for lack of a better term. There's no question that as far as race horses go Secretariat was out of this world. Upon Secretariat's death they did the standard necropsy and founding Secretariat's heart was gigantic. Though they didn't officially weigh it and compare it directly to famous horses of days past who did have their hearts weighed it was guessed to easily outweigh any former heart they had examined. The heart is basically an engine for a racehorse. To me it's like if you took a modern day race car and went back 25 years and allowed it to enter races with all the drivers/cars of the time. You could have the worst driver on the track and still crush the opposition.

It's impossible with tennis to fully explain the difference between surfaces to people who have not actually played on these surfaces. It's also impossible to describe the kind of advantage a lefty could have simply for being a lefty.
