I found Stick's post useful, after than one I knew my pick was wrong, but am still surprised to see how wrong.

Your last sentence is also useful given the recent discussion about 'the zone' and strength of the blitz. Maybe we should define 'the bench' (24-19 points) as well, the 4 checkers on 20 and 21 count as on the bench. With more checkers on the bench, the attack becomes weaker.
