New Chronos GX clock - settings for BG

I just got my new Chronos GX clock and I have been playing around with BG settings. At first, I had the same problem that Jason's friend had in that if the clock was set to 18 - 12 (18 minutes with a 12 second delay) and you pause the clock after a game by hitting the red button, the clock resets to 18 - 12 if someone hits the red button a second time. This happens because the clock defaults to blitz mode where you want this to happen.

The solution is to enter your times in TN1 mode (hold down the left button when turning the clock on, this is Tournament Non-count mode). You can preset your 12 most common time controls and after doing it several times it takes less than one minute to set a new control.

The Chronos is certainly a much more solid feeling clock than my old Excalibur clock, hopefully, it will stand up to the airlines baggage handlers better!
