(1) What five countries are partially in Asia and partially in Europe?

From Wikipedia, "The division between Asia and Europe is debated but under the commonly used definition, the border stretches along the Ural Mountains,[1] Ural River, and Caspian Sea in the east,[2] the Caucasus Mountains[3] and the Black Sea with its outlets, Bosporus and Dardanelles in the south.[4][5][5] Based on that division, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey have territory both in Europe and Asia."

(2) Name six countries in Europe smaller than Luxembourg.

Vatican City, Malta, San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein and Monaco. I have been to all six.

(3) What country lying totally within Europe borders on the most other countries?

Russia borders on too many countries for even Sam Pottle to count. However, most of Russia is in Asia and not Europe.

Austria and Serbia both border on eight other countries.

Germany shares a land border with nine countries: Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland and Czech Republic. Additionally, Germany shares a sea border with Sweden.

(4) If you want a really challenging question, try this one: Name all the countries that the Danube River flows through or borders on.
