Reasons for upgrading/buying

In Response To: eXtreme Gammon 2 is released. (eXtreme Gammon)

Two weeks ago I said I would write my experiences with XG2 beta, for those who weren't yet sure if they should buy it. Now I think it is appropriate time to do it.

Disclaimer: I have no financial interest with XG, I'm regular user.

Here are the reasons why I think it is worth upgrading or buying XG2:
- It is fast. And when I say fast, I mean very fast. And when I mean very fast, I mean veeery fast!
- EPC count
- You can play with clock
- Batch Rollouts. Before, when I went somewhere over a weekend, I opened 15 instances of XG1 to do 15 parallel rollouts when I'm gone. To make long story short - it was PITA. Now I just select files and/or positions I want to rollout and when I'm ready to go on a weekend, I just need two mouse clicks and I'm done.
- Export as publication. Nice new feature that enables exporting position as B/W images to Word, ready for printing.
- Better navigation trough moves. Fast navigation not only trough errors, but even trough close best moves.
- Better html export of matches
- Auto save. Remember those 15 parallel instances with rollouts, mentioned above? It was pretty frustrating coming home from a weekend realizing there was power shortage and everything is gone.
- Importing SGF files (GnuBG save files)
- Position export with text on the side (either left or right) of the board
- Buttons for quick change between $, DMP, GG and GS
- Last but not the least - excellent customer service!

I'm sure there are many more reasons I forgot to mention, but I hope you got the point.

P.S. Xavier, when does XG3 training start?
