I don't understand this position

I just make two inner board points here. If this is the blunder, I have the same problem with the position.

I cannot see a valid alternative:

A move like 13/5 6/2(2) is too ugly.

8/4(3) 10/6 is very safe for the moment, but totally unflexible.

13/9(3) 10/6 is also safe, but leaves the back man totally alone. Leaving the midpoint would disrupt the team of checkers here.
