I think Bill got a bit over enthusiastic after the well deserved victory. It was a nice come back, but getting an equalizer in injury time is not that uncommon.

The ref, was bad, but here again, we've seen far worse. 99% of the referee would not have get the penalty kick do over after a US player made one step in the box before the ball was kicked. It is however the rule of the game. She stayed consistent with her strict application of the rule by penalizing the Brazilian goalie for stepping up on the the penalty.

Talking about bad call in this WC: http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/video/video=1467545/index.html around 0:45 if that is not a hand ball, nothing is!

Anyway, great game by the USA, the girls never gave up. I am looking forward to Wednesday semi final against France.
