Yes, mainly because it's a lot quicker than normal 360 rollouts I might perform on my XG

As Timothy guessed, by using "normal" rollouts, you're not performing truncated rollouts and I suppose you're using 3ply for all moves.

Look at the settings for XGR++:
360 games with VR
Truncated after 5 moves using 3-ply
First 2 decisions in 3-ply
Then 2-ply checker and 3-ply cube

It is truncated after 5 moves, and only first two moves are 3ply, the rest is 2ply checkers with 3ply cube.
