Nice problem! My feeling is that we prefer not to get a second checker sent back despite the possibility of anchoring. Certainly we don't want three checkers back, so I don't play bar/24 3/1*. Bar/22 avoids exposing a blot right away but risks a bad 2 next turn. Bar/23 2/1* gives a direct shot but if White enters on a high point then she's out of our hair and we have reasonably good chances of permanently eliminating the danger of a second checker back. Finally there's bar/23 3/2 but I can't see any merits to that play.
