There are many interesting candidates: 7/2* 5/2 to finish the closeout. Risky for the 61 joker but if the closeout succeeds it's a sure gammon. 6/1 5/2* which might be the DMP play, hoping to be hit and gain timing to make White crunch. If White dances, try to complete the closeout. Quiet plays like 19/11 and 19/16 6/1, which help White crunch.

In this almost-gammon-go case, I would hit for the gammon 7/2* 5/2.
