Interesting position! With a gammon value of 1, I hit for sure with 5/2*, since 19/11 just lets White scoot past most of the time, decreasing our gammon chances quite a bit, and 19/16 6/1 puts a checker out of play. After 5/2*, there are three plausible 5's: 19/14, 7/2, and 6/1. I don't like 7/2 because it seems that it carries too much risk of losing. Even if White doesn't roll an immediate 61, we might have trouble covering our bar point again. Between 6/1 and 19/14 I'm not sure; either play gives us some juicy shots with White's bad entering numbers. OTB I would probably play 19/14 5/2* but I can believe that 6/1 5/2* might be better.
