If I look at this position, my first thoughts are that you need some structure with Blue - 6 on the midpoint and a made ace-point, combined with a lot of contact left, and a lot of immediate shots does not look good. For this reason, B/20*/14 does not look good, it does not help in building any structure and just tries to tip-toe home.
B/20* 8/2* deserves more of a look. By putting a second checker on the bar, it creates a tempo for improving the position. If hit, we may anchor on the 20, keeping the 20 slotted could be considered a plus. The drawback of this play is that it dupes 3s (8/5 and 5/2), and that it strips the 8 point, so the immediate impact of the play is worsening the position and the awkwardness of the stack - it is only the tempo gained that may allow us to improve.
B/20* 13/7 is something to look for immediately - when you see a stack of 6 on the midpoint, try moving from it, especially if your opponent is on the bar. If you get away with it, your position will have improved a lot. Is leaving another blot too dangerous? It may appear so, but White is on the bar (reducing offensive threats), White's board is ugly, and there is a lot of duplication going on (2s, 3s and 5s). It is interesting to look at the number of hits after B/20* and forgetting about the 6 and after B/20* 13/7 - not so many additional shots and double hitters.
The upshot: 13/7 for me.
