Thoughts on the World Championship

In Response To: Thoughts on the World Championship (David Rockwell)

The world championship, which is incidentally the biggest and most prestigious championship in the world, should be open to all players.

Just like the Open Championship in golf where anybody can enter the qualifiers.

If more strong players bothered to enter the backgammon world championhip the tournament would be even harder to win and the likelyhood of ending up with what you would consider a worthy winner would increase.

This year the best player in the world will win it.
