so I think wasting a turn is a great exaggeration

It wasn't an exaggeration, it was sloppy word choice in a quickly posted reply.

I'm not really worried about the variant where Blue rolls an ace that isn't 61 and then I also roll an ace. That shouldn't carry enough weight to make me take notice in my calculations.
