Thoughts on the World Championship

I fully agree and I have made many suggestions and puiblished many ideas and got great support for most of them.

However, Iīm not in charge....

And yes, the World Championships should be an event for which you have to qualify. I donīt believe online is the right way because of obvious reasons ans possibilities of cheating and using bots. However, federations, bodies and groups of each country should find a formula to select and send their elite (and that is not necessarily a financially powerful elite with deep pockets) to compete at a real World Champs, which should be moved around the globe, like every other sport and game.

This would also incite countries to get organized and form bodies to promote backgammon in their respective country.
