Point taken. However, my feeling is that it would be more relevant to examine positions where White's board is more crunched, because I think that's what will probably happen in the original position. When White's board is more crunched, the downside of getting hit from an ace-point game should be reduced, and the chances of White winning the race with only one checker back should be increased.
