White has five checkers back and lacks the timing for a backgame

I don't quite understand. If White anchors on the 23pt to go along with the 20pt anchor he has plenty of timing for that backgame.

On the other hand, Blue has three blots and if Blue is hit back

More things that really don't make sense to me. Blue is on roll, him having three blots isn't a concern.
