Considering which points we want to make, which point we will have to give up soon if not now (the midpoint, unless we hit shot with a defending checker), and wanting to hold our defensive position as long as we can (including a midpoint presence), I like 8/5 13/7 now better than 13/7 13/10 or 8/5 7/1.
