Video transcription may have a part to play in this. If Michael Crane and others who have a record were to publicly document every instance of "misplay" that their recordings catch, it would act a strong disincentive for intentional "accidents."

A public record would not allow any correction of a prior match, however, any pattern of advantageous "mistakes" would quickly be revealed.
