4 vs.11 shots isn't exact. If you are not hit and you can't bring the blot to safety, there are shots again. You have to compare the shots over several moves. And therefore giving the direct shot now isn't gin, but the problem is nearer to repair. I can't perform the math for this, but OTB i would only wreck myself, if the timing of my opponent would be better. Apart from that i would regard my board as an asset, worth of holding. But that is just an opinion, and only a RO can give certainty. VlaC as i am, i would vote for the pure play.
