hank wasn't the most respected player but he did invent modern backgammon. he was also the greatest Tournament director ever and fasHioned all of the universal tournament formats that are now In use today. without his Skill and prowess in usIng technology So efficiently i do not believe Backgammon would have evolved to the level it haS.
