BQ: Hit or not hit?

BQ? I don't see anything BQ about this problem. Hit wins more games, but will lose a lot of extra gammons. How do you play a six after you hit? 13/7 breaks an important point and leaves a bunch of blots for white to pick. Perhaps 10/4 is better. At least when hit Blue may roll a deuce and anchor. Hit may serve as a tempo play--White wants to cover his 4pt and clear blots laying around or to attack, but will have difficulties to do all these things at once from the bar. With all that said, I have no clue what is right. Behind in the race I want to hit, but all those gammons look scary. I guess I would play 13/10* 10/4 and close my eyes.
