You may wish to pick up the book "Can a Fish Taste Twice as Good?" Sub titled "Doubling in an Unequal Backgammon Match" bye Trice and Jacobs

It is based on this very idea of cube strategy with unequal skill levels. It also provides some Assymmetric MET's that for difference in ELO rating. If you use GNUBG you can go to "analyse" menu/ "match equity table" / "Load Table" and select "Jac050.xml" or "Jac100.xml". 050 is a 50 ELO difference bwteen players and 100 is a 100 ELO difference.

You can then see in the table displayed in GNUBG how the MWC winning at different score could change.

I recommend the book though, it is one of the few I own.
