If you hit there are return hits galore. 21 after 18/13*/11. 17 after 18/13* 18/16. Hits are very powerful. After 18/13*/11, you would have 4 or 6 return hits from the bar. But you'd again face 21 or 15 return hits. If you're hit and contained now, you surely will lose many more gammons than if you are hit later.

The least bad play I see is 11/6 8/6. Wait and see. Ugly but safe. 8/1 and 8/6 7/2 don't look better.
