In Response To: Hit or No Hit (Daniel Murphy)

I agree with Daniel's analysis here, that all these return shots are not worth the 18-pip gain in the race.

And I add that Blue's anchor has a bit of value in the near term. White is a bit brittle, and will likely have to give up one of his outside points in the next 2-3 rolls (dare he dismember his nice board), a decent bonus after settling for an even race with the non-hitting play.
