In Response To: Recube action 7-away 14-away - RO (Daniel Murphy)

For the second position, Nigel Merrigan's Metric/E-Pips Formula would give a pretty close approximation, if we take PLT = 6 and L = 10: the leader's estimated winning percentage would be 85% + 2.6% = 87.6%. But his current description of his formula doesn't say how he would take into account the gap on the 4pt. (Though for this particular take/pass decision it doesn't matter as long as you figure that the 4pt gap can only help the trailer.)
