I'd start with 24/22* 6/5, and then would either play 6/5 or 22/21 with the last ace. I think 6/5 is probably best to increase chances to build another blocking point. In favor of 22/21 is that it gets out of the way or return hits with 5s, a number that cannot be used for entering, but when white hits after 22/21 it would be on the point that white wants to make next.
A different approach is 8/7(2) 6/5(2), creating a 4.5 prime and aiming for an advantageous prime vs prime game. But hitting, sending a third checker back, and gaining a significant lead in the race must be better.
