Cube Theory Question

As always, what determines the cube action is the next exchange (your roll, your opponent's roll). In a "normal" position, you balance your market losers against what I call your market freezers (exchanges that result in your not wanting to double), and you double if your market losers outweigh your market freezers.
In a potentially TG/P situation, you again do a similar accounting, balancing your market makers (those which give your opponent a take, and which incentivize you to double now) against your market freezers (those that leave you TG next turn). If your market makers outweigh your market freezers then you cash now; otherwise you play on.
