Yes, it is reasonable to use L for 24/18 11/8, though that relies on assumption here (i.e., the 24/18 portion being obviously best). Strictly speaking, one would interpret L by noting the Lifting portion of 11/8, and then allocating 13/7 for the silent half, by 6pt convention; admittedly, 13/7 11/8 is an awful play.

I prefer B (Both) for 24/18 11/8, which works without assumption. Here is more on B, S and Z.
