1. Why Neil says Gs don't hurt? Star has 1 pt and Gs really hurt. 2. I agree with you and Bob 4/1 is right. I think it is FORCED. (right by a mile) 3. I think random pointing is not on the agenda now. It CAN be if blue has said goodbuye to all other ways (priming, closing out) - i.e. when he has burnt at least 7 checkers and has his high points ALL open.
The problem is the lack of air and the immediate collapse of blue board or the demise of Bulgarian anchor if blue does not PP - POLISH PRIME. Phantom means something invisible that may or may not exist. Polish prime is leaving blots instead of prime for the enemy to shoot.
Kit's article is a classic.
I guess 4/1 is forced EVEN when Gammons matter.
