1. This position got me thinking about a Kleinman technique from Vision Laughs but for the life of me, lol, I've forgotten the name of it. Hold on! It may have been something like the "Transformation Method"; does this ring a bell with anyone?

Anyway, I believe it goes something like this:

When the decision to hit first ot make the point first is close, compute a Transformation Count (TC) for both plays and choose the one with the higher count.

Lets give it whirl!

After 8/3, white will dance 25/36 and blue will hit the blot on 17 11/36; multiplied together gives a TC of 275.

After 21/17* 10/9, white will dance 16/36 and blue will cover 27/36 for a TC of 432...hmm is it really this clear? I think not! After the latter, white will enter 20/36 of which, she'll hit 30% of the time or 6 rolls. In reality, Blue's TC is a lot closer to 10*27, 270. Now that is close and it appears that making the point first is correct.
