Flashplayer/OT/M Petch

I installed flashplayer on firefox browser; then, went to internet explorer and a movie site said download flashplayer- Now, in control panel i have flashplayer plugin( done on firefox), and, flashplayer active x done on internet explorer. Is this ok ?
