#1: 21/17* 10/9. Putting a second man on the bar looks stronger than just closing the 3-point. And playing 3/2 instead of 10/9 is too ugly.

#2: D/T. Blue has 12 pips and many gammon threats, but White's position is ok. Could develop to a normal holding game.

#3: D/P. Blue has everything and lots of gammons.

#4: 9/3 8/3. White has to roll a six in order to get a holding game with the cube on the opponents side. 13/7* 6/1* looks good, but I wouldn't put 3 blots around while the opponents board is stronger.

#5: 6/2. Time for the ugly move. 13/9 leaves 5 shots for little gain.
