Whether to (anchor or) hit on the 21pt with 54 can be an interesting decision with some frequency. Whether to hit on the 20pt with 43 from the roof seldom is; it's pretty much a slam dunk in the early game.

Following Hit or Anchor with 54 from the roof, I partially wrote a second article (never published) on Hit or Anchor with 43 from the roof. Hitting is correct vastly more often; the hitting opportunity usually has to be on the near side of the board for anchoring to be a serious consideration.
