you expect me to be able to play out the position and notice that difference?

No, one should not play out the position starting by switching points in order to notice a 2% difference in CWP (0.50% or 1% MWC at this score, depending on what was meant by 2% difference). I doubt very much that the difference is that high and if it were would require too many games to be noticed. One might instead play out the position to notice that it may be much easier than one suspected to remake the 6 point after switching points, and then how the 5 point board makes completing the board also quite easy. That's how most games go. In a small number of games, after switching points Blue makes the 2 point before the 6 point but these games also play very well. If Blue switches points now White never successfully anchors on the ace point, the hardest point from which to be forced off the anchor. That has to be worth some wins, so I don't think it's a "conceptually" bizarre play at all. And I although I can't say White never successfully anchors on the deuce point, I can say that she hasn't yet.
