3/0 5/4 is my play.

My first thought is 2/0 is clear. Need to get down to 10 checkers so have a chance with two big doubles and a non double. If we play 6/5 then we need to think about the last ace.

We have an outside chance of getting 4 rolls and 3/2 is better than 5/4 in that case. Mainly though we need to think about being off in 3. I think 3/2 is still better in that case. Too much is lost on 62, 52, 42, 32 to overcome the good 44 which 5/4 would give. And it sure would be a nice recube if we get two big sets in a row.

Now what about 3/o 5/4? We still have two good immediate doubles but if the 66 comes first we then have 3 good doubles instead of two.
